Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:

During the fighting with the Finnish invaders on the Karelian Isthmus, when a fortified enemy defensive belt in a forest-clad area was being breached, comrade Ryabushev showed bravery, courage, and heroism. For instance, during the attempt to break through the first line of defense, comrade Ryabushev was given orders to pulverize 2 large wooden bunkers that were situated deep in the enemy's defenses and could not be detected from ground-level observation posts. Comrade Ryabushev set up a 30-meter-high observation tower, positioned 1500 meters from the front line, which was easily detectable by the enemy, who laid down methodical fire, which impeded the efforts. Defying the mortal danger, comrade Ryabushev tracked down the targets and destroyed them, in the process saving 32 shells and enabling the 1263rd Rifle Regiment's 1st Battalion's in-depth operations.

On June 14, 1944, during the attempt to break through the second line of defense, the battle conditions demanded that the enemy not be allowed to dig in along a previously prepared line. The condition of the terrain only allowed for the enemy defenses to be observed from a distance of not more than 200-300 meters, and that counted only from the treeline. Immediately upon assuming a combat position Comrade Ryabushev defied the mortal danger and inspired his subordinates to show bravery and courage by pushing forward to the enemy's forward line of defense under heavy machine-gun and mortar fire. From a distance of 100-150 meters he located 2 wooden bunkers and a few armored one-man pillboxes and set about destroying them, saving dozens of shells in the process.

During our infantry's advance comrade Ryabushev's battery provided artillery support to the 286th Rifle Regiment's 1st Battalion. During the advance he detected another 2 accomodations dugouts, a machine-gun emplacement, and an artillery piece, which at point-blank range were impeding the advance of our infantry. Comrade Ryabushev suppressed the enemy firing positions, thus ensuring the second line of defense could be breached.

For his bravery, his courage, and his eagerness to destroy the enemy, comrade Ryabushev deserves the Order of the Red Banner.
