Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:
Comrade Bikteyev is a brave and fearless soldier. During the fighting on December 13 and 14,
1942 he personally repaired as many as 30 breaks in the telephone cable under heavy enemy mortar and machine-gun fire,
thus ensuring uninterrupted communications with the battalions. On these same days comrade Bikteyev reeled out a new
telephone cable to one of the units across open terrain.
During the fighting on December 14 of this year, comrade Bikteyev used a captured mortar to destroy
an enemy machine gun and kill its crew.
For the bravery and heroism he displayed, comrade Bikteyev deserves the Order of the Red Star.
