Comrade Kornilova has been serving as a senior nurse at Mobile Therapeutic Field Hospital nr. 5197 since December 1944. Before that he served in the same position at Mobile Therapeutic Field Hospital nr. 2681.

Comrade Kornilova has lengthy work experience, being the therapeutic hospital's most senior nurse. With great skill and passion for her craft, comrade Kornilova sets up her ward at all of the hospital's locations. Comrade Kornilova's ward always contains rooms for officers, rooms for severely wounded men, and isolation units for undiagnosed diseases. Comrade Kornilova has exceptional regard for carying out her assignments. She arranges the proper care for the severely wounded. Comrade Kornilova put a great deal of effort into setting up the Army Rest Center within the hospital. Owing to her initiative and vigor, the proper comforts could be enjoyed in the Rest Center's officers' ward.

Comrade Kornilova fully deserves her nomination for the Medal for Combat Merit.
