On December [should be November, AdV] 26, during the fighting for height 204.0, located to the
southeast of Klemkovo, he was present at the command post. Under enemy fire he skillfully and personally adjusted the
fire of his battery, destroying 2 enemy artillery batteries and two mounted machine guns and killing up to 50
Hitlerites, who were impeding our troops' advance to the height.
The men and materiel have been prepared perfectly for the most difficult tasks in combat
situations.
He deserves the Order of the Red Star.
