Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:
During the assault on the city of Kцnigsberg Private Zulfigarov was involved in laying smoke
screens in the sector of the 83rd Rifle Division near Setkenfeld on April 6, 1945 and in the sector of the 5th Rifle
Division during the crossing of the Pregel River.
While laying these smoke screens Private Zulfigarov showed valor, bravery, and initiative, and at
the Pregel River he and the smoke screen equipment were put across the river alongside the first battalion to cross to
the opposite bank. He established a smoke line, set up a smoke screen, and although subjected to heavy enemy rifle and
machine-gun fire, Private Zulfigarov's post functioned smoothly.
He fully deserves to be awarded the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.
