Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:
During the period of combat operations between September 14, 1943 and September 19, 1943 near
the villages of Malo-Beresnevo, Braklitsa, and Kaloshino, comrade Vinogradov maintained the uninterrupted
communications between the tanks and the neighbouring units under heavy enemy artillery, mortar, and machine-gun fire.
Crawling and then suddenly running he made his way to the tanks to inform them about the enemy. To the forward tanks
he pointed out the locations of the enemy firing positions. Under a hailstorm of enemy fire he reconnoitered a crossing
for the tanks across a water barrier and regulated the tank crossing across the river.
For bravery, boldness, and courage displayed during the fighting with the German invaders, he is
being nominated for the Order of the Red Star.

Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:
During the fighting between June 23 and 25, 1944, in an attempt to break through the enemy
defenses near the village of Sharka in the Vitebsk Raion of the Vitebsk Oblast, comrade Vinogradov skillfully
organized the regiment's reconnaissance missions.
On June 25, 1944, near the village of Komara, comrade Vinogradov and a group of scouts blew up the
crossing across the Western Dvina River under heavy enemy artillery and machine-gun fire, not permitting the enemy to
cross the river.
During this battle comrade Vinogradov died the death of heroes. During the fighting between June 23
and 25, under the leadership of comrade Vinogradov approximately 75 soldiers and officers were taken prisoner, while
45 horses, 15 vehicles, 4 motorcycles, and 7 machine guns were captured. With his personal weapon Vinogradov
himself killed 8 Hitlerites.
For skillfully organizing the combat reconnaissance and the bravery and boldness displayed in the
process, comrade Vinogradov deserves to be awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st Class posthumously.
