Short, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:

During the fighting for the village of Ishcherskaya Senior Lieutenant Bokuchava personally laid a telephone line. When the 1367th Rifle Regiment was crossing the river and communications were severed by enemy fire, Senior Lieutenant Bokuchava, despite withering fire, restored communications in 10 minutes, thus ensuring unit headquarters could maintain contact with the 1367th Rifle Regiment. During all phases of battle Senior Lieutenant Bokuchava was posted near the line and the telephone posts. By personal example and through his selfless efforts he taught the men of his unit how to maintain uninterrupted communications, owing to which division command was able to communicate with its units continuously.
