Serving as the battalion commander's messenger to the regimental staff, comrade Kapustin has
always delivered his messages to the regiment in time during the regiment's fighting since June 26, 1944, regardless
of the circumstances.
On October 5, 1944, while returning to the battalion, he noticed an officer bleeding profusely from
severe wounds. Comrade Kapustin carried the officer over a distance of more than two kilometers to a medical post,
where the officer was given urgent medical care, after which the officer's life was out of danger.
Comrade Kapustin displayed great nobleness and deserves the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.
