Short, concrete description of his feat of arms or accomplishments:
During the fighting for Belgorod and Kharkov, which started on August 3, comrade Yarogov
properly arranged for combat experiences to be covered in his newspaper and popularized the heroic deeds performed by
soldiers and officers who had distinguished themselves in battle. Comrade Yarogov is closely connected to the rank and
file and frequently spends time in the units. Both personally and through his newspaper he was able to rouse the men
and inspire them to carry out their combat missions in an exemplary manner, imparting courage and bravery and a great
offensive spirit.
Through his personal efforts and with his newspaper he helped the division successfully execute
its combat missions.
He deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Star.
